Is there any prevention or cure for legally blindness?
He is just blind, not legally blind. Legally blind just means that by the law of the state where you live he is considered blind. The state will determine if he is blind or not by law to see if he is considered handicap. If he is handicap he can get money from the government under Social Security Disability. All that means is that he can't work because he can't see. Don't worry, you won't be blind. You could have vision problems but not be blind. You can always prevent vision problems by protecting your eyes from the sun by wearing sun gles or a hat, don't watch tv or use a computer for too long, and eat stuff with Vitamins A in it like carrots. There is also vitamins you can get at the pharmacy or Walmart that help your vision. These pills are like $8 a they are supposed to keep your vision healthy but I'm not sure if they work. You can find them by going to the medicine section at Walmart and they have names like vision plus or something like that. You don't need a prescription to buy.
