Have your religious views changed since you were a child and how did your parents react?

I was a devout Christian until I converted to Atheism at the age of 21, how did my parents act? Well Christmas Day is like World War Three with them both condemning me to hell and then taking it all back while we eat then saying it all over again, until New Years when they turn up at my door to say sorry. It's like Clockwork.
