Whats a good job for my child????????

my daughter wants to have a job. i guess its just a stage shes goning through but she wants a real job. shes only 12 and she loves animals and shes a hard worker but her dad doest want me to pay her cuz he thinks it would better for her to learn how to work for other people. i just cant think of anything that she can do................. HELP
