Halloween isn't scary anymore.........?

You see all of these little kids with simply, not scary costumes. Like Telly Tubies, Cowboys, Superman- , fairy costumes. Etc .... Shouldn't there be more scary costumes like Frankenstein? The whole "point" of Halloween Is to scary the monsters/ghosts away. maybe that stuff is scary to the "mosters" idk .
