How do I not think about my fwb alot when he's texting me alot?

There's a guy I've been talking to the last few weeks. He said he wants to try fwb 1st & maybe build up to something more. He lives 40-45 minutes away...so we've only seen each other twice...& have hooked up once....which was Sunday. We haven't spoken on the phone since then. But he texts me EVERY day & all throughout the day. He starts in the morning & throughout the day & night & then to tell me good night. We just text about random stuff...how r days going, what we're doing, etc...we don't talk about how we hooked up or when we will see each other again or anything like that. I have a feeling he doesn't want anything serious so I don't want to get too attached but that seems like it'll be hard b/c he's always texting me so I'm thinking about him alot. I don't want him to not text me...I just don't get it. Sometimes he'll text me & I'll text back & it'll take him like a 1/2 hr. or longer to text back. It's hard not to think about him when he texts quite a bit..what do i do?
