Is the tip shared when you are served by multiple servers?

Last night after work I went alone to eat at a local chain restaurant downtown. As usual I was igned to a particular waiter ("Josh" I'll call him). Josh took my order; he brought me the main course but two other different servers brought me the appetizer and a second drink. When I paid at the end, of course I put the entire tip on the one credit card slip. Do the other two servers get a piece of it?
