Big names always get a leapfrog in rankings when they are not held down by a commitment to another title. This happens all the time. Like Miguel Cotto coming off his loss of his title in his first fight back fighting for the WBO welterweight title. Edwin Valero vacated his title and moved to lightweight and with no lightweight fights he is ranked number two for the WBC. This is nothing new. Big names always get a leap when they have no title to weight them down. These belts are corrupt, $$$$$$$.
